Throughout the centuries the former volcano of Molokini has become a sunken crater engulfed by the sea. From an aerial view, its unique shape resembles the crescent moon. From the water, it offers one of the most incredible snorkeling and diving realms on the planet.
A 35 minute cruise on a snazzy pontoon boat brings you to the Molokini Crater. Once you're there - gear up, plunge into the clear blue sea and get ready to explore an underwater world of magnificence.
Over the course of five hours you'll journey all along the "wall" of the crater. On your adventure you'll swim with schools of bright tropical fish, meander past affable sea turtles, float atop beautiful coral reefs, and maybe even spot a group of dolphins.
Afterwards, most tours offer alcoholic beverages for the cruise back. Breakfast, lunch and snorkeling gear are also included, along with a group of instructors to provide you with some helpful tips.
